The material is true jewelry grade abalone making this Writing Instrument even more valuable and difficult to make. Abalone is an organic material making this process very hard to duplicate. 

This full-size pen offers two formats, rollerball or fountain pen. We install, setup, and tune a German made steel nib. The in house tuning of the nib ensures a smooth writing experience upon its first use! This pen comes with a converter so you can use your favorite bottled ink. You also have the option to use a standard ink cartridge if you prefer.
